What a fantastic book! As a person with two Frenchies, I can totally relate to this heartwarming story. The illustrations are so cheerful and uplifting, so I propped the book up front and center so that I can see it regularly. It makes me smile EVERY time. I also purchased a copy for a local organization that works with children who have physical challenges- a perfect book for their library. Thank you so much to the authors for sharing Ivy's story.
If I could give 20 �?��?� I totally would. Purchased this from a scholastic book fair. When the books were separated out to distribute to each child. Her AMAZING teacher saw it. Then read it to the class. Then over the summer we were assigned a class project of our favorite book. Ivy was a no brainer. After she turned in the project. Her new teacher reached out and asked to borrow the book. The authors were even so kind as to send some literature for my 7 year olds project. Good wholesome family reading. That promotes positivity and empathy. Love love this book!!!
I bought this book for my 8 year old daughter, she LOVED it. We have frenchies of our own and this book touched our hearts. My daughter loved the book so much she took to school and read it to her class.
This is the sweetest, cutest story about empowering us to overcome life�??s hardships. It�??s also a story about finding joy in being together and including everyone. This needs to be part of every child�??s book collection.
My beagle became paralyzed from IVDD in Oct 2017 and Ivy�??s story is so inspirational and a reminder we are not alone. Rocky, like Ivy, is still happy and full of life. This book is a precious reminder of the resilience we all have inside of us. ��?�?�??�?
